[Dispatch=Lee Myung-ju Reporter] BOYNEXTDOOR is making a return with an autobiographical album.
BOYNEXTDOOR will release its first full-length album 'HOME' on the 8th at 6 p.m. The music video for the title track 'VIRAL' will also be unveiled that day.
All members participated in the songwriting process for this new album. They recalled vivid experiences. They incorporated their experiences and thoughts from their trainee days through their debut.
'06070' dealt with anecdotes from their trainee days. 'Remember Us' contains words they wanted to say to their families. 'I Wonder' is a serenade directed at their fans.
'Upside Down' carries their determination to live each day without regret. 'Dive' expresses the feeling of falling for someone they love.
As for 'VIRAL', it followed K-pop conventions. Its characteristic is a clear structure with distinct progression. It carries the wish that "these songs will spread to many people."
The performance, different from before, is also a point of anticipation. Instead of the familiar and free-spirited "boy next door," they will present a stage with a contrasting mood and offer a fresh appeal.
The plan is to continue their upward momentum through the new album. BOYNEXTDOOR achieved three consecutive million-sellers with their fifth mini album 'The Action' last year.
They also showed their presence on global charts. The album reached 40th place on 'Billboard 200,' the main album chart of the U.S. Billboard. It was their fifth consecutive entry.
Meanwhile, BOYNEXTDOOR will hold a comeback showcase at Korea University's Hwajung Sports Complex in Seongbuk-gu, Seoul on the same day.
