[Dispatch=Yuha Reporter] Director Maggie Kang of Netflix animation 'K-pop Demon Hunters' will take the mound at Jamsil.

LG Twins announced on the 8th, "Director Maggie Kang will throw the ceremonial first pitch ahead of the midweek home game against SSG Landers at Jamsil Baseball Stadium on the 10th."

The club stated, "We invited Director Maggie Kang, who has expanded the influence of K-content, to hold a place to wish for victory together with fans."

Director Maggie Kang said, "It is an honor to throw the first pitch. I am happy to share good energy with those who love baseball. I will throw with strength for LG Twins' victory."

Director Maggie Kang directed 'K-pop Demon Hunters.' The work is an animation featuring K-pop idols as subject matter. It tells the story of girl group and exorcist 'Huntrix' facing off against boy group 'Deathboyss', grim reapers of the underworld.

'K-pop Demon Hunters' surpassed 300 million cumulative views, the first on Netflix. It exceeded the records of 'Squid Game Season 1' (265.2 million views) and 'Wednesday' (251.1 million views).

It swept trophies at prestigious international award ceremonies. It won the feature animation award at the 98th Academy Awards. Along with the Oscar for feature animation, it also received the theme song award for the OST 'Golden'.

Meanwhile, Netflix recently confirmed the official 'K-pop Demon Hunters' world tour concert. Details on the schedule will be announced later.
