[Dispatch=Yuha Sky Reporter] "We will move forward confidently at IZNA's own tempo." (Yuha)
IZNA has conveyed autonomous narratives centered on the 'self.' They boldly challenged a new world ('N/a') and sang of infinite possibilities beyond mere prettiness ('Not Just Pretty').
This time, they have unveiled a strengthened musical identity. The idea of creating IZNA's own tempo ('SET THE TEMPO'). They sing a bold message—that instead of the standards set by the world, they themselves will become the standard.
IZNA held a media showcase on the 8th at Blue Square Our WON Banking Hall in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, to commemorate the release of their third mini album 'SET THE TEMPO.' They conveyed the passion contained in the new album.

'SET THE TEMPO' is an album that captures the members' autonomous attitude. It blends various styles including dance, pop rock, synthpop, and hip-hop/R&B. It showcases an expanded musical world for IZNA.
This is their comeback after approximately nine months. Coco shared her excited feelings: "The moment we show new music and stages is always thrilling. I'm curious how you will see us."
My said, "It is an honor to be able to show IZNA's growth." Yuha introduced it, saying, "It is an album where IZNA's color has become richer in both visuals and music."
The new album contains a total of five tracks: the title track 'METRONOME,' 'R.I.P.,' 'INFINITY,' 'ROCK, PAPER, SCISSORS,' and 'LEAN ON ME.'

The title track 'METRONOME' is a deep house-based dance track. Taking the metronome that moves at a steady beat as its motif, like its title, it carries a commitment to create one's own rhythm without wavering even in a complex and chaotic world.
My expressed confidence: "I thought the dreamy atmosphere of the intro suited IZNA well. As we move toward the chorus, the house sound is added, and I felt we could show our charm performatively as well."
IZNA showcased the title track stage for the first time that day. The standout point is the sharp metronome gesture—bending the arms in rhythm with the chorus. The intuitive choreography that anyone can follow adds to its addictiveness.
Bang Ji-min recalled, "It is choreography that captures attention. We continuously monitored by adjusting angles little by little. The process of creating it together with the members was enjoyable in itself."
The music video incorporates a fantastical narrative. The members moved between reality and fantasy. In an upside-down world, they danced freely with music as their only refuge. The sophisticated visuals and dreamy imagery heightened immersion.

They also prepared 'INFINITY,' a fan song for Naya (fanbase name). It features a warm synthpop melody. It incorporates unchanging love and trust between IZNA and their fans.
Members Bang Ji-min and Yuha wrote the lyrics. Bang Ji-min said, "Participating in songwriting for the first time made it even more meaningful. I sincerely included what I wanted to say to the fans."
Yuha did not forget the encouraging messages the fans had given. "The fans have always shared such warm words," she conveyed. "This time, we wanted to return that heart to them."
Now in their third year since debut, IZNA has grown by showcasing various stages including their first fan concert and global performances. Bang Ji-min reflected, "Memories from the fan concert still feel like a dream. I was happy to feel closer with the fans as we breathed together."

Jung Se-bi shared, "I used to feel nervous, but now I have learned to enjoy the stage. I fully enjoyed the recent university festival stage too. I think I have grown as a person."
Choi Jung-eun explained, "If before I focused only on the perfection of movements, now I have learned how to create immersion by breathing with the audience."
The bond between members has deepened. Coco emphasized, "We talk a lot with the members. We give and receive positive energy from each other and align ourselves. No matter what concept, I am confident we can pull it off with IZNA's own color."
What is the goal of this activity? Yuha pledged, "Like the album name, I want to move forward confidently. Going forward, we will prove that IZNA is an irreplaceable group with our own color."
IZNA will release 'SET THE TEMPO' through various music sites this evening at 6 p.m.
