[Dispatch=Lee Myeong-ju Reporter] Actor Jo Jung-suk is returning with a crime drama.
Netflix unveiled the casting lineup for the new series "Paperman" (screenplay by Kim Bong-ju, directed by Lee Il-hyung) on the 9th. It announced that "Jo Jung-suk, Park Hae-soo, and Suhyun will appear."
"Paperman" tells the story of a man who has spent his life making counterfeits and has never been recognized by anyone, but who creates perfect counterfeit bills and steps into a dangerous world by chance.
Jo Jung-suk takes on the role of Cha Myeong-jo, an employee at a company that manufactures knockoff character stickers. He is a character who lives merely in appearance and accidentally ends up making counterfeit bills.
Park Hae-soo plays Oh Seung-eop, the chief researcher for counterfeit prevention at the Bureau of Engraving and Printing. He is a character with sharp judgment and persistence who gradually tightens the noose around Myeong-jo.
Suhyun plays Myeong-jo's wife and elite judge Koh Hye-suk. Hye-suk has a cold and firm personality. Behind a perfect life, she carries the fractures of her family.
Director Lee Il-hyung is in charge of direction. Through the Netflix series "Bitter Relationship," the film "Prosecutor's External Biography," and "Remember," this director has presented works with genre satisfaction.
Meanwhile, the release date for "Paperman" has not been determined. It will be available on Netflix at a later date.
