[Dispatch=Reporter Lee Myung-ju] 'True Education' has taken over the world.

According to the latest Tudum rankings (June 1-7), the Netflix series 'True Education' (written by Lee Nam-gyu, Kim Da-hee, and Moon Jong-ho, directed by Hong Jong-chan) has topped the global top 10 non-English shows.

The series premiered on the 5th. Within three days of release, it recorded 6.4 million views (viewing count calculated by dividing total viewing hours by total runtime). Total viewing hours stand at 68.7 million hours.

It entered the top 10 lists in a total of 48 countries/regions. It was loved in Mexico, Bolivia, Colombia, Costa Rica, Turkey, Egypt, Morocco, Bahrain, Sri Lanka, and more.

Among these, it ranked number one in 10 countries/regions. Including South Korea, it swept through India, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, and Taiwan.

'True Education' is based on a popular webtoon of the same name. It starts from the premise that a department protecting teachers' rights was established in the education sector. The work depicts the process of these figures rectifying schools.

U.S. publication Forbes wrote, "It is the most polished work released this year," and added, "Anger toward a reality where justice has gone missing, coupled with an appropriate solution, delivers catharsis."

Mexico's Excelsior also praised 'True Education'. It stated, "A Korean drama that will shake the brain cells of global viewers and deliver tremendous impact has arrived."

Meanwhile, 'Brave New World' ranked 2nd, 'Wonderfuls' 4th, 'Sold Out Again Today' 9th, and 'Yoo Jae-suk Camp' ranked 10th.
