Lee Jae took the stage at the "2026 FIFA North-Central America World Cup opening ceremony celebration" held at Mexico City Stadium in Mexico on the 12th (Korea time).
He performed a duet with world-renowned opera singer Andrea Bocelli. Wearing a blue halter neck dress, he sang "DNA," the World Cup theme song.
He also participated in the song production of "DNA," adding significance. He added Korean lyrics throughout the song—"Even if I fall again/ I will rise again"—delivering emotion.
K-pop artists are active in this World Cup. In addition to Lee Jae, BLACKPINK's Lisa will attend the U.S. opening ceremony, and BTS will attend the finals halftime show.
