[Dispatch=Yuha] THE 8 and Vernon of SEVENTEEN have united as a new unit 'V8'.

V8 will release their first mini album 'V8' on the 29th. On the 11th, they unveiled the concept film and photos of the first version 'RATS NEST' on SNS.

'RATS NEST' refers to a disorderly and chaotic situation like a rat's nest. V8 reinterpreted this as a state of youth. It captures the traces of survival and confused emotions.

The photos featured remnants of a broken car, torn wallpaper, and wild grass growing inside a room. It expressed the traces of youth accumulated over a long period of time. THE 8 and Vernon displayed raw aura with natural appearances.

They also presented a film of the same name. It contains an electronic pop sound. Like the title 'RATS NEST, WASTED YOUTH', the recklessness of unstable and precarious youth was elevated into freedom.

V8 collaborated with renowned producers from home and abroad including Pharrell Williams, Beomjoo, Kirara, Mekatok, and Dylan Brady. They added strength to the musical completeness.

They will meet more Carats (fan club name). V8 will hold '2026 Vernon THE 8 [V8] Live' at Hall 1 of the 1st Exhibition Hall of Goyang KINTEX on the 11th-12th of next month and at Hall 10 of Asia World Expo in Hong Kong on the 17th-19th.
