[Dispatch=Reporter Lee Myung-joo] CORTIS wished for victory for the Taeguk Warriors.
CORTIS participated in the "2026 FIFA North, Central America World Cup Commemorative Street Cheering" held on June 12th at Gwanghwamun Plaza in Jongno-gu, Seoul.
Ahead of the South Korean national soccer team's first match, they boosted the cheering energy. They took the stage set up in the plaza and performed a live concert.
When Martin noticed the on-site atmosphere heating up, he calmed the fans. "Safety is important. Cheer passionately, but enjoy without getting hurt," he said.
The first song was a joint performance with the band TRANSFIX. They performed while wearing the red uniforms that symbolize the soccer national team.
CORTIS's hit songs could also be heard. They sang from their debut song "What You Want" to "Go," "Young Creator Crew," and "Red Red."
After the performance, James said, "Thank you so much for running hot with us." Juhun also said, "Please cheer enthusiastically together."
Gunho emphasized safety once more. "Above all, I hope you enjoyed (cheering) safely. I hope you will cheer until the end," he urged.
Meanwhile, the soccer national team led by coach Hong Myung-bo will play Czech Republic at 11 a.m. today in the first match of Group A in the North, Central America World Cup group stage.
