"Oh!!! A comeback goal, thank you"…★, Excited over first World Cup victory

[Dispatch=Lee Myung-joo] Entertainment industry stars cheered on South Korea's national soccer team. As a comeback victory was confirmed, they roared with joy and shed tears.

The Korean national soccer team defeated Czechia 2-1 in the Group A round-robin match of the 2026 FIFA North and Central America World Cup held on the 12th at Guadalajara Stadium in Mexico.

J-hope of BTS shared a broadcast of the match on social media that day. Wishing for the soccer team's success, he wrote, "Korean players, fighting."

He also exclaimed "Oh" as if moved by Oh Hyun-gyu's comeback goal. Oh Hyun-gyu scored in the 35th minute of the second half, reversing the match. It brought South Korea three points.

aespa's Winter and Karina watched the soccer team's first victory in person. They visited the local stadium as members of the Coca-Cola away cheering squad for this North and Central America World Cup.

They shared their impressions right after the comeback victory. Winter posted a photo covering her mouth and wrote, "We won." Karina said, "It was so cool and I cheered hard. I'm moved."
