According to the Korean Film Council's integrated movie ticket system, 'Swarm' drew 301,052 viewers over the past weekend (12th-14th). The cumulative audience count is 5,212,823.
The film maintained its momentum despite new Hollywood releases. 'Disclosure Day' directed by Steven Spielberg drew 112,389 viewers during the same period, ranking third.
'Wild Things' (director Son Jae-gon) secured the No. 2 position at the weekend box office for the second consecutive week. With high interest, it recorded 205,103 viewers, with a total of 869,723 admissions.
With 'Toy Story 5' opening on the 17th, the domestic box office landscape is expected to shift. 'Toy Story 5' ranks first in advance booking rate (39.7%) as of the 15th.
