[Dispatch=Reporter Park Hye-jin] Joshua of SEVENTEEN takes the stage at UNESCO headquarters.

Pledis Entertainment announced on the 16th, "Joshua will attend a commemorative ceremony held at UNESCO headquarters in Paris, France on the 25th (local time) in his capacity as a UNESCO Youth Goodwill Ambassador."

The event is "UNESCO X SEVENTEEN: Celebrating Youth, Creativity and Well-Being Together."

It has been arranged to commemorate "Going Together," a global youth support program that SEVENTEEN and UNESCO have been pursuing together.

Joshua will take the podium representing the team. He will deliver a message for young people directly. An in-depth support project is also scheduled to be announced. UNESCO Secretary-General Khaled El-Enany and others will also participate.

SEVENTEEN became the first K-pop artist to become an official UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador in 2024. They donated one million dollars to establish a World Youth Fund. They showed support for young people around the world in the fields of music, art, sports, and more.

Last year on World Youth Day, they also donated charity auction proceeds. Ten teams out of 100 youth groups participating in "Going Together" received in-depth support. SEVENTEEN has long supported young people's dreams and solidarity.

The event will be held on the 25th at 5 p.m. (Korea time) in the main hall of UNESCO headquarters in Paris, France. It will be broadcast live on UNESCO's official YouTube channel.
