[Dispatch=Lee A-jin] Cartoonist Huh Young-man is suspending his activities due to health issues.

Huh Young-man Inc. said on the 17th, "Cartoonist Huh Young-man recently experienced health problems. He plans to halt all external activities and take a rest for the time being."

It is known that Huh collapsed suddenly and was transferred to the intensive care unit. He is currently undergoing treatment and recovery under the guidance of medical staff.

The TV Chosun program "Diner Huh Young-man's White Rice Journey" will also conclude. The program is a food travel entertainment show where Huh visits long-established restaurants and white rice restaurants across the country. It first aired in 2019.

The agency said, "Through discussions with the production team, we decided to wrap up Season 1. We express our deep gratitude to the production team, cast members, and viewers who have been with us for the past seven years."

Meanwhile, cartoonist Huh Young-man, born in 1947, is a master representative of Korean webtoon industry. He debuted through the Boys Korea Daily New Cartoonist Contest in 1974. His representative works include "Gaksital," "Tazza," and "Diner."
