[Dispatch=Lee Myung-ju Reporter] Felix of Stray Kids becomes the new face of the 'Hanbok Wave.'

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism announced on the 17th that "Felix has been selected as a Korean Wave culture and arts figure for the '2026 Hanbok Wave' project. He will promote hanbok with five domestic hanbok brands."

'Hanbok Wave' is one of the Korean Wave content expansion projects. It is a project in which competent hanbok companies and Korean Wave culture and arts figures collaborate to promote the charm of hanbok to the world.

This year marks the seventh edition. Previously, former figure skating national representative Kim Yuna, singer and actress Suzy, Kim Tae-ri, and Park Bo-gum have showcased the unique beauty of hanbok.

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism will recruit hanbok small and medium-sized enterprises to work with Felix. By the 10th of next month, five companies will be selected through comprehensive evaluation of expertise, differentiation, feasibility, and ripple effect.

The finally selected companies will develop ten pieces of hanbok each reflecting Felix's image and symbolism. The completed hanbok will be introduced on major digital billboards in domestic and international cities.

Meanwhile, Stray Kids, to which Felix belongs, will take the stage at Brazil's music festival 'Rock in Rio' in September.
