[Dispatch=Reporter Lee Myung-ju] Actor Nam Joo-hyuk steps into 'Donggoong,' consumed by a curse.

Netflix released a teaser poster and trailer ahead of the debut of its new series 'Donggoong' (written by Kwon So-ra and Seo Jae-won, directed by Choi Jung-gyu) on the 18th.

The poster first depicts both the world of spirits and the real world. Gu-cheon (played by Nam Joo-hyuk) stands within the palace, holding a long sword with a grave expression.

The tagline is equally suggestive. With the phrase "Crossing the boundary between the real world and the world of spirits to uncover secrets," it hints at his role to come.

In the trailer, Gu-cheon is captured arriving at the palace after being summoned by the King (played by Cho Seung-woo). He sensed that the palace was filled with resentment.

Ultimately, he decides to enter the world of spirits to find the 'vengeful spirit.' Palace maid Saeng-gang (played by Noh Yun-seo) watches as Gu-cheon heads toward a pond.

That place was another face of reality. Gu-cheon wielded his sword against ghosts. He said, "Those who have committed sins will one day face punishment."

Additionally, Saeng-gang with blood smeared on her forehead and the Grand Concubine (played by Jang Young-nam) encountering mysterious phenomena further heightened curiosity about the main series.

Meanwhile, 'Donggoong' follows Gu-cheon, who crosses between the world of spirits, and Saeng-gang, who harbors secrets, as they uncover the curse of Donggoong. It premieres next month on the 17th.
