[Dispatch=Reporter Lee Myung-joo] BTS V's self-composed track was featured in a video related to the G7 Summit.
French President Emmanuel Macron released a video capturing the scene of the Group of Seven (G7) Summit through social media on the 17th (Korean time).
France is the chair country for this G7 Summit. President Macron greeted leaders from each country at the welcoming ceremony venue for invited nations held in Evian.
President Lee Jae-myung was also spotted. The two shook hands in front of a sculpture engraved with "G7 France Evian 2026" and posed for photographs.
A familiar song also appeared in the video. "Into the Sun," a track from BTS's regular fifth album, was used as background music.
"Into the Sun" is an acoustic-based Soul pop rock song. Member V led the songwriting and composition. The lyrics carry a message of hope.
The French side used songs with cultural characteristics from each country as background music. In U.S. President Donald Trump's post, Tom Petty's "Love Is a Long Road" played.
German Chancellor Friedrich Merz's video featured Namika's "Liebesmensch," and Japanese Prime Minister Takahiro Sana's was accompanied by Ninja Bits' "Arigato."
Meanwhile, BTS is meeting with ARMY (fandom name) around the world through the world tour "Arirang." It is being held on the largest scale by a single K-pop artist tour standard.
