[Dispatch=Lee Myung-ju Reporter] AB6IX's Jeon Woong has renewed his contract with Brand New Music.

Brand New Music announced an official statement regarding Jeon Woong's contract renewal through its website on the 18th. "We announce that we have entered into a contract renewal with Jeon Woong," it said.

This comes 28 days after the team's activities ended. The agency said, "Based on the deep trust and affection built over a long period, we will continue on a new journey."

It will help him continue active personal activities. "We will spare no effort in providing full support so that he can take another leap forward as an artist," it promised.

Jeon Woong debuted as AB6IX's main vocalist in 2019. He served as the musical centerpiece of the team with his distinctive tone and stable vocal skills.

Beyond group activities, he appeared on several variety shows. He demonstrated his versatile charms on 'Sixsense 2', 'Build Up: Vocal Boy Group Survival', and 'Handsome Guys', among others.

Meanwhile, AB6IX has been on hiatus following its 7th-anniversary concert 'AB6IX to Seven' in May.
