During the same period, North American box office revenue reached $160 million (approximately 245 billion won). It recorded the highest box office revenue among films released in North America this year.

'Toy Story 5' is the fifth installment in the 'Toy Story' series, which began in 1995. It returns as a new series after six years. The total franchise revenue is approximately $3.04 billion (approximately 470 billion won).

Season 5 depicts a story that unfolds with the appearance of a smart tablet called 'Lily Pad.' Jesse, Woody, and Buzz face an unprecedented crisis and embark on an unpredictable journey.

Domestically, it recorded a Rotten Tomatoes freshness score of 94% and a CGV Golden Egg Index of 98%. The emotionally resonant narrative of this undefeated franchise is receiving enthusiastic responses across all age groups.

Meanwhile, 'Swarm' took second place at the weekend box office. 188,676 viewers watched it. The total audience count is 5,527,627. Third place goes to 'Wild Things.' It was seen by 133,556 viewers, surpassing 1.1 million cumulative viewers.
