[Dispatch=Lee Myung-joo] Singer Evan's debut song has climbed to the upper ranks of domestic and international charts.
Evan released the digital single "RIDE OR DIE" on the 22nd. The title track of the same name topped the Bugs real-time chart on that day.
That's not all. The song entered Melon's "Hot 100" (based on 30 days from release) at No. 5 upon its release. The B-side "Overflow" also ranked at No. 7.
It also showed strength on the global charts. "RIDE OR DIE" reached No. 6 on the Worldwide iTunes Song Chart. It also secured the No. 1 spot on "Top Songs" in a total of 8 countries/regions.
On the same day, Evan held "Evan Archive: RIDE OR DIE Unboxing Live" on Weverse. Fans from a total of 199 countries/regions accessed the broadcast in real time.
He shared his thoughts, saying "I'm happy and feel nostalgic being able to share a (solo) single," and "I was watching the fans' reactions to the album all day."
Regarding the title track, he said "It's a song with my emotions embedded in it," and "I wrote it thinking of the fans. When making the music video, I also thought of the fans as most important."
Meanwhile, Evan will hold "The Feeling Live with Evan" at Mulbit Stage in Yeouido Hangang Park in Seoul on the 26th.
