ENHYPEN, WHO Global Collaboration… "From Campaign to Blood Donation"

[Dispatch=Lee Myung-ju] ENHYPEN participated in raising awareness about the importance of blood donation. They exercised positive influence once again.

ENHYPEN recently collaborated with the World Health Organization (WHO) to conduct a global blood donation encouragement campaign. Members emphasized the importance of blood donation through short-form videos they filmed.

They also filmed a video call with Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, WHO Director-General. They said, "We are honored to participate in the 'World Blood Donor Day' campaign."

Global Engene (fandom name) responded. Following ENHYPEN's blood donation encouragement, the number of participants in the WHO blood donation pledge project 'Drop your Drop' surged.

Initially, the number of participants was around 1,200 as of June 12, the day before the campaign video was released. However, on June 14, right after the content was posted, it jumped to 8,300.

ENHYPEN participated in blood donation as well as the collaboration. Through their agency, they conveyed their thoughts, saying, "It is more meaningful and an honor to directly donate blood and participate in the campaign."

They also hinted at future plans. ENHYPEN left a promise, saying, "We will make more efforts to become an artist who can provide positive influence to Engene."

ENHYPEN held a blood donation campaign with the Korean Red Cross in January. Hot responses poured in from South Korea and Japan. A total of 10,000 people participated in blood donation.

They contributed to expanding the foundation of blood donation culture. In fact, during that period, the number of first-time blood donors in Korea increased significantly to over 19 times (1,031 people) compared to the same period before the campaign (54 people).

Meanwhile, ENHYPEN will make a comeback on August 21 with their 8th mini album 'THE SIN: BLISS'.
