[Dispatch=Reporter Jung Tae-yoon] The production team of the film "Hope" (director Na Hong-jin) revealed vivid behind-the-scenes footage on the 24th.
"Hope" is a pure action film completed using traditional techniques. At the same time, it is a work featuring 3D creatures with advanced technical sophistication.
Like action films from the 20th century, the aim was to create a classic action film where actors perform and film all stunts directly without CG assistance.
Additionally, by introducing 3D creatures in bright daylight, an unprecedented major challenge was attempted. The creatures were completed through facial capture and motion capture.
Through the collision of pure action and 3D creatures, the film offers audiences an unprecedented cinematic experience. At the same time, it aimed to strengthen the concept of collision between aliens and humans.

The trailer contained the production team's intense process and efforts to create a collision of two genres. The action was captured vividly using slider systems, bike cameras, and specially manufactured wire cameras.
Hollywood actors Michael Fassbender, Alicia Vikander, Taylor Russell, and Cameron Britton visited Korea in person and the motion capture and facial capture sets were opened to the public for the first time.
Fassbender said, "It was a very original and unprecedented work." Vikander said, "I really love Director Na Hong-jin's films. They are very artistic, entertaining, and thrilling."

They demonstrated delicate facial expressions and committed physical performances to express the 3D creatures. This is set to strongly stimulate the audience's imagination.
"Hope" tells the story that unfolds when Beom-seok (played by Hwang Jung-min), the head of the Hopoha Port Branch, hears news from young locals that a tiger has appeared in the neighborhood.
It is a new work that director Na Hong-jin has carefully prepared over a long period of time. It was invited to the competition section of the 79th Cannes Film Festival and first presented to audiences worldwide. "Hope" will be released in theaters on the 15th of next month.
