[Dispatch=Lee Myung-ju] Film 'Ripple' (working title) has wrapped shooting and is moving into post-production.

Production company 'Star Platinum' announced on the 25th the wrap-up news of 'Ripple' (director Kim Sun-gyeong). "All episodes of shooting have been completed (recently)," they said.

'Ripple' tells the story of the Kwon family of Yedong, which has continued illegal business, and how uncontrollable ripples occur as they compete over the position of new successor following the death of the eldest grandson.

Byun Yo-han took on the role of Park Ki-tae, who has shouldered all the difficult work for the Kwon family. "I hope all the effort we put in will be conveyed to the audience," he said.

Lee Som plays Kwon So-hyun, the eldest daughter of the Kwon family. She said, "I couldn't let go of tension because it's a character who must go to the end while building chemistry with senior cast members."

Kim Jun Han plays the role of Kwon Doyoung, the eldest grandson. "There were many scenes that required fierce commitment at every moment. I did my best. Please look forward to it," he said.

Kim Jong-soo performed as Uncle Kwon Byung-yeol. He also added his thoughts, "There are regrets and relief, and those emotions are layered together."

Direction was handled by director Kim Sun-gyeong. "I prepared this story for over six years, and I think 'the film is finally being made,'" the director said.

He continued, "Thanks to the hard work of the staff and actors," and pledged, "We will wrap up post-production well and stay strong until the day we meet the audience."

Meanwhile, 'Ripple' is scheduled for release next year after post-production.
