BOYNEXTDOOR, lit up Jamsil Stadium…"From first pitch to 'viral' cheering"

[Dispatch=Reporter Lee Myung-joo] BOYNEXTDOOR heated up Jamsil Baseball Stadium.

BOYNEXTDOOR was invited to the '2026 Shinhan SOL KBO League' game between LG Twins and Samsung Lions held at Seoul's Jamsil Stadium on the 24th.

Jaehyun and Sungho took on the first pitch and first at-bat, respectively. In the bottom of the fifth inning, all members took the stage. They performed a cheering song using "VIRAL."

They said, "We are honored that our song is used as a cheering song" and "We created the lyrics and choreography ourselves. We hope you love both the new song and LG Twins."

BOYNEXTDOOR had previously announced a collaboration with LG Twins. They reinterpreted their first regular album title track "VIRAL" and presented it as a cheering song.

They also revealed a special connection. Jaehyun is a fellow alumnus of LG catcher Lee Joohoney from Seongnam Middle and High School. They maintained a close relationship even after graduation.

Meanwhile, BOYNEXTDOOR ranked 16th on the US Billboard 200 (as of the 27th) with their new album. It achieved their highest ranking.
