[Dispatch=Lee Myeong-ju Reporter] CORTIS has set a new record in hundred-million-level streaming. The debut album surpassed 600 million total plays.
According to the latest Spotify count (as of the 23rd), CORTIS's mini album 'Color Outside the Lines' surpassed approximately 671 million cumulative streams.
It has been about 9 months since the album's official release. Despite being a debut album, it gained significant popularity immediately upon release. It exceeded 100 million streams within a month of release.
It then hit 200 million (November 27, 2025), 300 million (January 8), 400 million (February 26), and 500 million (April 29) respectively. An additional 100 million streams were added in just 55 days after that.
Sales figures are also overwhelming. Based on Circle Chart, 'Color Outside the Lines' is the best-selling K-pop debut album of all time. It surpassed 2.11 million copies.
Global chart performance is also notable. The album charted at No. 5 on the US Billboard 'World Album' (as of the 27th) and No. 22 on 'Top Album Sales,' charting for 41 weeks and 24 weeks respectively.
'Color Outside the Lines' embodies the team's philosophy of "thinking freely outside the standards set by the world." Music and choreography were co-created.
The mini album 'Green Green' is also maintaining long-term popularity. It surpassed 200 million streams 45 days after its release. The title track also exceeded 100 million plays.
Meanwhile, CORTIS is preparing for their first solo tour 'Foot Your Phone Down.' Both the Incheon and North America performances sold out at the membership pre-sale stage.
