[Dispatch=Lee Myung-ju Reporter] Actor Song Hye-kyo parts ways with the agency she has been with for 14 years.
UAA stated on the 26th, "Our exclusive contract with Song Hye-kyo has recently expired," and added, "We have decided to conclude our time together and support each other's future paths."
The agency continued, "Song Hye-kyo was loved not only in South Korea but around the world while working with UAA. The time spent together will remain a cherished memory."
The agency offered support for her new beginning. A representative said, "We ask for fans' warm interest and encouragement toward Song Hye-kyo as she stands at a new starting line."
Song Hye-kyo was UAA's first artist. After signing with the agency in 2012, they worked together for 14 years. During that period, her representative works including "Descendants of the Sun" and "The Glory" were released.
Meanwhile, Song Hye-kyo is preparing for the release of the Netflix series "Slowly and Deeply." It is a new work by writer Noh Hee-kyung and stars Gong Yoo and Kim Soo-hyun.
