Wakeone announced on the 29th, "Seok Matthew has been selected as an ambassador for 'Visit Seoul,'" and "He will be participating in the 'Met U in Seoul' campaign planned by the Seoul Tourism Foundation."

The campaign name "Met U in Seoul" is a double entendre combining Seok Matthew's name and "Meet You." It captures special encounters and experiences unfolding across Seoul in video form.

Seok Matthew visits Seongsu-dong, Han River Park, and Seosullo-gil in person. He introduces Seoul's ambiance and warmth from a traveler's perspective. He has teased special communication with global fans.

Seok Matthew possesses communication skills, fluently speaking Korean, English, and French. With a more approachable side than his stage persona, he will convey the joy of traveling Seoul and broaden shared understanding.

The campaign is being prepared by the Seoul Tourism Foundation to promote Seoul's diverse charms based on connection points with global K-pop fandom. It aims to heighten interest in actually visiting Seoul.

In particular, a short-form challenge will also be conducted so that global K-pop fans can easily follow along and share on social media. Various planned projects including special SNS events have also been prepared.

Gil Ki-yeon, CEO of the Seoul Tourism Foundation, stated, "The positive energy of Seok Matthew, who leads global hallyu trends, and the warmth and hospitality Seoul possesses will create synergy."

ZEROBASEONE is active both domestically and internationally. Recently, the group officially released its sixth mini album "Ascend" in the United States. It is also preparing for the release of its second Japanese EP "Hoe Gwi Love" on August 19.
