TXT, Comeback on August 19th in Japan… Release of Single 5 'Setsuna Hanabi'

[Dispatch=Reporter Lee Myung-ju] TXT releases a new single in Japan.

Big Hit Music announced on the 30th that "TXT will release its 5th Japanese single 'Setsuna Hanabi' (セツナハナビ, Setsuna Hanabi) on August 19."

Their comeback comes approximately 10 months later. TXT obtained 'Double Platinum' (500,000 copies) certification with its 3rd Japanese regular album 'Starkissed' last October.

Local MOA (fandom name) were spoiled before the official announcement. At a special concert held recently in Hyogo to commemorate the 7th anniversary of their debut, the new album logo motion was unveiled and received cheers.

The new album contains a total of 4 tracks. It includes 3 original new songs and another version of the title track. On the first day of release, a Tokyo premium live is also scheduled.

TXT performed well on Japan's Oricon annual chart last year. Its 4th regular album 'Star: Together' and 'Starkissed' ranked 9th and 17th respectively.

Its 8th mini album 'Minisode 3: Artist' was also popular. This album reached the top of Oricon's 'Weekly Cumulative Album Ranking' (as of April 27).

It set a record tied for the most No. 1s across Japanese and overseas artists of all time. With its 14th No. 1 on the chart overall, it proved its strong local popularity once again.

Meanwhile, TXT will appear on Japan's Nippon TV 'The Music Day 2026' on the 4th of next month.
