According to the latest Tudum rankings (June 22-28), the Netflix series 'School Probation' (screenplay by Lee Nam-gyu, Kim Da-hee, and Moon Jong-ho, directed by Hong Jong-chan) has topped the Global Top 10 Non-English Shows.
It recorded 7.3 million views over the past week (the figure obtained by dividing total viewing hours by the total runtime of the work). Following its No. 1 debut in its first week of release, it has maintained the top position for four consecutive weeks.
Cumulative views exceed 46.6 million. This corresponds to the 5th position among all Netflix original Korean series. It is nearly 7 million views higher compared to 'The Glory' (39.7 million views).
It has captivated not only domestic but also global viewers. It entered the Top 10 in a total of 75 countries and regions. It ranked No. 1 in Hong Kong, Japan, Indonesia, and 6 other countries and regions.
'School Probation' is an adaptation based on the webtoon of the same name. Under the premise of the existence of a fictional government agency called the National Institute for Educational Rights Protection, the protagonists support victims.
Meanwhile, 'Kim Bu-jang' recorded 6.6 million views and entered 3rd place. 'Brave New World' is in 7th place, and 'The Boy at the End of the Row' ranks 8th.
