[Dispatch=Lee Myeong-joo] Actors Kim Hye-soo and Jo Yeo-jung throw themselves into an unforeseen catastrophe.
Coupang Play announced on the 2nd, "The new series 'Infidelity Is Not the Problem Now' (written by Jung Eun-kyung and Park Su-rin, directed by Lee Chang-hee) has confirmed its release on the 31st."
'Infidelity Is Not the Problem Now' is a chain collision black comedy. It is a story involving an influencer couple and a doctor couple in the midst of divorce proceedings.
Related teaser posters have been unveiled. Popular influencer Gyeong-hee (played by Kim Hye-soo) smiles while holding a selfie stick against the backdrop of a peaceful luxury residential area.
However, beyond the mansion, a crisis is detected. Silhouettes of an embracing man and woman, and a man pressing his ear against a wall in front of a broken family photo hint at hidden anxiety.
This work departs from a familiar subject matter and the story races in an audacious direction that no one could anticipate. The choices of characters spiraling out of control provide a sense of thrill.
Above all, the meeting of 'trusted actors' raises expectations. Kim Hye-soo takes on self-made influencer Gyeong-hee, and Jo Yeo-jung plays elegant and refined dermatology clinic director Su-jung.
Kim Jihoon takes on the role of Jae-hong, a younger husband who captivated Gyeong-hee with his sexy charm. Kim Jae-chul plays Bo-sung, the husband in divorce proceedings with Su-jung and harboring secrets.
Direction is handled by director Lee Chang-hee. The director has been recognized for his stylish sensibility and directing skills through dramas 'Killer's Shopping List' and 'Others Are Hell'.
Director Hwang Dong-hyuk also lent his support. He is the figure who caused a global syndrome with the 'Squid Game' series. As CEO of 'Firstman Studio', he is responsible for producing 'Infidelity Is Not the Problem Now'.
Meanwhile, 'Infidelity Is Not the Problem Now' will be released on Coupang Play on the 31st at 8 p.m.
