According to the Korean Film Council's integrated ticketing system, 'Hope' topped the overall reservation rate on the 4th. It reached the number one reservation rate faster than any other film this year, with 11 days remaining before its opening.
'Hope' is director Na Hong-jin's first feature in 10 years. Actors Hwang Jung-min, Jo In-sung, and Jongho displayed intense action performances without holding back. Hollywood actors also joined the cast.
Michael Fassbender, Alicia Vikander, Taylor Russell, and Cameron Britton are set to make an appearance as alien characters, revealing their distinctive presence.
'Hope' was previously invited to the competition section of the 79th Cannes Film Festival, where it was first presented to audiences worldwide. The response from overseas critics and media was strong.
Enthusiastic reactions followed the intense cinematic experience. Additionally, it was pre-sold to over 200 countries and territories worldwide at the highest price for a Korean film.

Distribution agreements were also signed with global major partners including Neon and Movie, Focus/UPI France, Sony Pictures Worldwide Acquisitions, and Gaga.
It brings new vitality to the summer theatrical market. It can also be experienced in specialized theaters including IMAX, Dolby Cinema, Dolby Atmos, ScreenX, and 4DX.
'Hope' depicts the story that unfolds when Beom-seok, the head of Hopohang Outpost located in the Demilitarized Zone, hears from neighborhood youths that a tiger has appeared.
'Hope' opens on the 15th.
