[Dispatch=Reporter Jung Tae-yoon] SBS-TV's "Kim Bujang" (written by Nam Dae-joong, directed by Lee Seung-young) is on a viewership surge.

"Kim Bujang" aired its third episode on the 3rd. Based on Nielsen Korea, it recorded an average of 19.6% in the Seoul metropolitan area and 18.8% nationwide. The peak viewership reached 23%.

It has broken its highest record once again. In just three episodes, it ranked 6th in SBS Friday-Saturday drama history viewership for both the Seoul metropolitan area and nationwide.

Based on the Seoul metropolitan area, this comes after "Penthouse 2" (30.6%), "Hot-Blooded Priest" (24.7%), "Model Taxi 2" (21.8%), "Penthouse 3" (21.0%), and "Stove League" (20.8%).

The 2049 viewership also recorded a peak of 7.5%. With just three episodes, it is on the verge of surpassing 20%. It swept 1st place in all-channel miniseries viewership this year and 1st place in all-channel programs during the same time slot.

In episode 4, which airs on the 4th, Kim Bujang (played by So Ji-seop) gets caught up in an all-out pursuit with his friends Sung Han-soo (played by Choi Dae-hoon) and Park Jin-cheol (played by Yoon Kyung-ho) to find his missing daughter Minji (played by Seo Su-min).

Sung Han-soo engages in a desperate struggle covered in blood. Park Jin-cheol exudes tension with eyes full of anger. And Kim Bujang races through the darkness with only one resolve—toward his daughter.

The three men will face a massive threat from different positions and continue through a series of crises and choices that defy expectations. Particularly, the three gather in one place for the first time and throw themselves into action.

Curiosity has heightened over how the "Dad Universe" will overcome the crisis, how far Kim Bujang's desperate pursuit for Minji will go, and what twist will overturn the fate of the three men.

The production team stated, "In episode 4, Kim Bujang's desperate paternal love to save his daughter and the loyalty of Sung Han-soo and Park Jin-cheol, who willingly throw themselves for him, will unfold even more intensely. Please look forward to the chemistry of the three."

Meanwhile, episode 4 of "Kim Bujang" airs today at 9:50 p.m.
