[Dispatch=Reporter Lee Myung-joo] ATEEZ has reached the top of the US Billboard main chart.
Billboard released a chart preview article on the 6th (Korean time). ATEEZ reached number one on the "Billboard 200" with their 14th mini album "GOLDEN HOUR: Part.5".
This is the third time their album has topped the chart. They previously reached the top in 2023 with "The World Episode Final: Will" and in 2024 with "GOLDEN HOUR: Part.2".
The "Billboard 200" is Billboard's main album chart. Rankings are determined using physical album sales, streaming count conversion figures (SEA), and download conversion figures (TEA).
"GOLDEN HOUR: Part.5" recorded 228,000 album units. Of these, physical albums accounted for 223,000 units, SEA for 5,000 units, and TEA was at a minimal level.
It surpassed ATEEZ's record for the highest first-week US sales. Their 13th mini album "GOLDEN HOUR: Part.4" released in February recorded 195,000 album units sold.
This new album captures ATEEZ enjoying a moment where instinct and sensation take precedence in a pleasurable manner. It consists of a total of 5 tracks including the title track "BAD".
Meanwhile, ATEEZ recently appeared on the US NBC show "The Kelly Clarkson Show". They showcased a performance of "BAD".
