[Dispatch=Reporter Kim Ji-ho] Jeonghan and Joshua of SEVENTEEN are debuting as a new unit.

Pledis Entertainment told Dispatch on the 6th, "Jeonghan and Joshua are preparing for a unit debut targeting an album release in October."

SEVENTEEN has previously unveiled six units: 'BSS' (Seungkwan, DK, Hoshi), Jeonghan X Wonwoo, Hoshi X Woozi, S.Coups and Mingyu, DK X Seungkwan, and 'V8' (THE 8, Vernon). Jeonghan and Joshua become the seventh unit within SEVENTEEN.

Jeonghan is SEVENTEEN's first member to complete military service. He returned to fans on the 25th of last month after finishing his service as a social service agent. He served as an alternative service for one year and nine months beginning September 26, 2024.

Meanwhile, among SEVENTEEN members, Wonwoo is currently serving as a social service agent. Woozi and Hoshi enlisted as active-duty soldiers in the Army. Leader S.Coups was exempted from military service due to an ACL tear.

Mingyu, DK, Seungkwan, Vernon, and Dino are preparing to enlist in turn. Joshua, Jun, and THE 8, as foreigners, are expected to support the team without military service obligations.
