Universal Pictures announced on the 6th, "Director Christopher Nolan will visit Korea with Matt Damon and Charlize Theron, the lead actors of 'Odyssey.'"
This is director Christopher Nolan's first visit to Korea. He has captivated Korean audiences through numerous works including 'Interstellar,' 'Dunkirk,' and 'Tenet.'
He will directly introduce his new film to Korean fans who have shown enthusiastic support. The visit schedule was carefully coordinated for his Korea trip.
A handwritten letter was also released. Director Christopher Nolan expressed his gratitude, saying, "I am grateful for the love and support Korean fans have given my films."
He added, "It is meaningful to visit Seoul through 'Odyssey.' I am truly delighted to meet Korean audiences in person and present this film."
Matt Damon (playing Odysseus) and Charlize Theron (playing Calypso) are also participating in the Korea visit. This is Matt Damon's first Korea visit in 10 years since 'Jason Bourne.'
Charlize Theron's visit is for film promotion purposes for the first time. During this period, she will attend scheduled events including a press conference and red carpet. She will spend special time with domestic fans.
Meanwhile, 'Odyssey' is based on the classical work 'Odysseia.' It opens next month on the 5th.
