[Dispatch=Lee Myung-ju Reporter] KARD is moving toward disbandment nine years after their debut.
DSP Media announced on the 6th, "After careful discussion with all four members, we have agreed to conclude KARD's journey with this activity."
The agency added, "We are grateful to Hidden Card (official fan club name). We hope for your support as the members move forward with new beginnings in their respective paths."
Ahead of their disbandment, they will complete their first full-length album activities and world tour. Their first full-length album "Where To Now Part 2: Nowhere" will be released on the 28th.
The agency stated, "We hope that the new album and tour that the members have prepared with all their hearts will remain as precious memories for our fans."
KARD is a four-member mixed-gender group that debuted in 2017. They were loved both domestically and internationally for songs such as "Oh NaNa" and "Don't Recall."
They particularly gained significant popularity among overseas listeners. Shortly after their debut, they charted at No. 4 on the iTunes US K-pop chart and No. 10 on the Japan K-pop chart.
