[Dispatch=Reporter Park Hye-jin] Actress Go Yoon-jung is taking on a historical drama. On the 7th, she confirmed her casting in the film 'Nambul' (director Lee Mo-gae). She will coordinate action with Lee Byung-hun.

'Nambul' is a martial arts action film. In early Joseon, nine warriors with different abilities and statuses head to Tsushima to rescue prisoners kidnapped by Japanese pirates, unfolding their story.

Go Yoon-jung takes on the role of 'Ae-ryeong'. A character who lost her family in a Japanese pirate attack and rushes to the battlefield to rescue her younger brother who is detained on Tsushima. An independent and strong character who moves forward toward her purpose even in a chaotic era.

Lee Byung-hun plays 'Im Eok', the head of the warriors. Go Yoon-jung will coordinate with Lee Byung-hun for the first time. She plans to present a new side with a strong character.

'Nambul' is director Lee Mo-gae's directorial debut. He has worked as a cinematographer on 'Seoul Spring', 'Exhumation', 'Hunt', 'Opposition Party', and 'Emergency Declaration'. 'Nambul' will deliver grand narrative and intense action.

Hive Media Corp produced it. Previously, they made 'Seoul Spring', 'Harbin', 'Deliver Us from Evil', 'The Battleship Island', and 'Insiders'.

'Nambul' is scheduled to begin filming in the latter half of this year. Currently in pre-production.
