[Dispatch=Reporter Kim So-jeong] Jinyoung is returning to his main career.
JYP Entertainment announced on the 8th that "Jinyoung will release a new song on the 23rd and make his comeback in the music industry." The new song is a dance track. Starting with KBS2's 'Music Bank' on the 24th, Jinyoung will continue with music show appearances.
He is also targeting summer festivals. Jinyoung will appear at 'Water Bomb Seoul 2026' on the 26th. Given that he impressed the audience last year with bold styling and stage presence, he is set to deliver another distinctive performance this year.
Jinyoung stepped down from his position as internal director at JYP in March. It was a decision to withdraw from management operations and focus solely on creative activities, nurturing junior artists, and external affairs. He maintained only the position of Chief Creative Officer.
Since October last year, he has been serving as co-chair of the Presidential Committee for Public Culture Exchange. This new song marks his first comeback as he balances external activities and artist work.
Meanwhile, Jinyoung debuted in the music industry in 1994. He was loved for hit songs including 'Honey' and 'Don't Leave Me.' He established JYP in 1997 and debuted god, Wonder Girls, 2PM, TWICE, and Stray Kids.
