[Dispatch=Ha Yuha] SEVENTEEN's new unit V8's Vernon is releasing a solo track. He added authenticity through autobiographical storytelling.
V8 released an official film for the mini album's B-side track "Mia" on the 8th through SNS. The video weaves together the time Vernon has spent as SEVENTEEN like a film of memories.
The video begins with the voices of Vernon's parents calling out Han Sol (Vernon's Korean name). From his infancy through his mischievous boyhood, Vernon's childhood is captured over an upbeat rhythm.
It brought both laughter and emotion. It depicts the process of broadening his own world with innocent curiosity. It naturally harmonized with the bright and energetic atmosphere of the song.

In the latter half, his appearance after the group's debut unfolds. The mischievous boy has grown into an artist with responsibility and maturity. His growth narrative combined with sincere lyrics conveyed deep resonance.
Skilled producers including Kirara, Han Jung In, and Robb Roy participated in the song production. Vernon's sincere concerns are layered over an intuitive, addictive lead sound and powerful beat.
"Mia" has received praise from various foreign media outlets since its release. Vogue Singapore evaluated it as "a song with special depth in that one can catch a glimpse of Vernon's honest inner self."
Meanwhile, Vernon continues his activities with V8 solo performances. V8 will kick off "2026 Vernon THE 8 [V8] Live" on the 11th and 12th at Kintex Exhibition Hall 1 in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province.
