LISNE, Tops Melon 'Top 100'… "REME, We'll do better!"

[Dispatch=Lee Myung-joo Reporter] Lisenne has achieved a reverse-charting myth. A song released two years ago has reached No. 1 on Melon's 'Top 100'.

According to Melon's latest tally (as of the 8th), Lisenne has topped the 'Top 100' chart with "LOVE ATTACK," the title track from their mini first album 'Syndrome'.

Member Won's YouTube channel gained explosive popularity, bringing renewed attention to their previous work. The gal and dialect concept in the video brought about a "Lisenne boom."

The reverse-charting trend of this song is unbelievable. After charting on 'Top 100' (May), it surged into the top 10 in just five days. Six days later, it entered the top 10.

Their other songs are also performing strongly. The new song "Pretty Girl" reached No. 1 on 'Hot 100' and No. 4 on 'Top 100' immediately after release. It also hit No. 2 on the Bugs chart.

They also achieved a "chart sweep." The single second album title track "Déjà Vu," the single "Runaway," and the mini first album title track "Pinball" all entered the upper ranks of 'Top 100'.

Lisenne held a live broadcast that same day. The members said, "We suddenly became No. 1. We were sleeping, but when we heard the news about being No. 1, we rushed over."

They added, "It's thanks to Rimaine (the fandom name). We're grateful." and "Thank you for making us No. 1 artists. Thanks to Rimaine, we walk confidently anywhere."

They were emotional and shed tears. Won sobbed to the members and fans, saying "You all worked so hard. (These tears are) tears of happiness."

She continued, "We held a live broadcast to share our happiness and joy," and added, "Thank you for streaming hard even in the early morning. We'll do better."

Meanwhile, Lisenne will appear on Mnet's 'M Countdown' on the 9th. They will premiere the "Pretty Girl" stage.
