[Dispatch=Reporter Yu Ha-neul] SEVENTEEN's new unit 'V8' opens the curtain on its solo concert.

V8 will hold '2026 Vernon THE 8 [V8] Live - Goyang' on the 11th-12th at Hall 1 of the 1st Exhibition Hall of KINTEX in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province. The performance will also be streamed online.

They signaled a different concert experience. V8 is the first unit in SEVENTEEN's history to present an all-standing concert. They plan to maximize the sense of presence by adding splendid visual effects such as lasers and mapping.

They held a pre-listening party last month on the 28th. The performance was structured as a DJ party format where they breathe and play close with fans. They warmed up the atmosphere ahead of the main concert.

V8 will continue the heat of its solo concert at Asia World Expo Hall 10 in Hong Kong on the 17th-19th. The performance was originally scheduled for 2 sessions, but an additional first session was added following the heated response.

Meanwhile, they topped various charts with their first mini album 'V8'. The album recorded sales of over 620,000 copies shortly after its release. It took first place on the Circle Chart's latest weekly album chart (June 28–July 4).
