SEVENTEEN, Second Re-contract Signed… "All 13 Members, No Departures"

[Dispatch=MyoungJu Lee Reporter] All 13 members of SEVENTEEN have decided to renew their contract with their agency for the second time.

Pledis Entertainment announced the SEVENTEEN contract renewal on the 13th. "All members have come to an agreement to enter into a second contract with us," the company said.

Most members have already signed contracts. The remaining members are currently fulfilling military service obligations, so they could not sign immediately. Contracts will be signed according to their service circumstances.

SEVENTEEN said, "We are happy to share this good news with Carats," and "We have united our hearts to move forward together as 13 members based on trust and shared understanding."

The group continued, "We want to move further as a team," and asked fans to "join us as members of 'TEAM SVT' and share in our promise to challenge eternity."

The agency stated, "We will continue to provide full support for group, unit, and individual activities," and emphasized, "We will serve as a reliable partner."

The company also promised, "We look forward to the day SEVENTEEN stands before you again as 13 members. We will lay the groundwork for a successful resumption of complete group activities."

SEVENTEEN debuted in 2015. They subsequently completed their first contract renewal early in 2021. Notably, not a single member left the group, which is rare for a multi-member group.

Over 11 years, they have produced numerous hit songs. They have built a distinctive musical world on the foundation of 'self-production.' They have expanded K-pop influence beyond the domestic market to the global market.

Beyond team activities, SEVENTEEN has actively pursued unit and solo projects. Recently, THE 8 and Vernon formed 'V8,' releasing a mini album and holding a solo tour.

The 'all-around youngest member' also has a release coming up. Dino will release a solo album as his alter ego Pi Chul-in on the 3rd of next month. He is set to demonstrate his expanded musical foundation.
