[Dispatch=Reporter Gu Minji] Singer Choi Ye-na is stepping into the role of MC on a variety program.
YH Entertainment announced on the 14th, "Choi Ye-na will join as MC for SBS-TV's new variety show 'My Remaining Romance,' which premieres on August 3rd." The company previewed her charm, which differs from the stage.
'My Remaining Romance' is a dating reality show. It features 20s and 30s youth who have either received terminal diagnoses or faced death's door through illness, as they face life and love anew.
Based on her own experience battling childhood cancer, Choi Ye-na forms deep bonds with the cast members. She is set to heighten engagement by keenly reading emotional shifts.
She also previewed MC chemistry with actor Lee Se-young, CNBLUE's Jung Yong-hwa, and SEVENTEEN's Dokyeom. Building on her high empathy, she adds fun through candid talk and rich reactions.

Choi Ye-na heated up short-form content with 'Catch Catch.' She will mark the finale by holding a theatrical version of her encore concert 'This World That Started From Square, Elusive to Grasp' on the 22nd-23rd of this month.
Meanwhile, 'My Remaining Romance,' featuring Choi Ye-na as MC, premieres on Monday, August 3rd at 10 p.m.
