CORTIS, Spotify powerhouse…'Red Red' sets record for most No. 1s in K-pop history

According to Spotify's latest tally (as of the 12th), CORTIS claimed the top spot on 'Daily Top Songs Korea' with the title track 'REDRED' from their second mini album.

With this, they have claimed their 70th number one. They have surpassed the record for the most number-one songs among K-pop group singles released since 2021, when the chart tally began.

'REDRED' first reached number one on the chart dated April 27. After that, it achieved its 50th number one (as of June 20), setting a record for the most number ones for a boy group.

The song has held the top spot for the 11th consecutive week on 'Weekly Top Songs Korea' (3rd–9th). Spotify's monthly listener count (12.67 million) continues to grow steadily.

Their popularity has manifested as the 'Young Creator Crew Syndrome.' 'Young Creator Crew' is an abbreviation for young creators. It has established itself as a trendy term referring to the younger generation.

CORTIS is indeed a 'Young Creator Crew.' All members co-wrote every song on their debut album and second mini album. They have captivated listeners with their new textured sound.
