[Dispatch=Lee Myung-ju Reporter] JYP Entertainment executives and artists have obtained membership with the U.S. Recording Academy.
On the 14th, JYP announced that "Park Jin Young, JYP Chief Creative Officer, and 18 artists including TWICE and Stray Kids have been selected as voting members of the Recording Academy."
Voting members are targeted at music creators such as artists, songwriters, and producers. They have the authority to participate in the voting process for selecting Grammy Awards recipients.
Executives also became members. Jung Wook, Representative Director, and Shin Hyun-guk, Chief Strategy Officer and Representative Director of JYP America, have been selected as Professional Members of the Recording Academy.
Professional members are targeted at music business experts who support music creators. They can participate in various programs and Grammy Awards submission procedures.
The Recording Academy is a music organization established in 1957. It represents the voices of those working in the music industry, including artists, lyricists, producers, and engineers.
