[Dispatch=Lee Myung-joo] Yeonjun of TXT has reached the top of Japan's Oricon chart.
According to the latest Oricon tally (as of the 13th), Yeonjun topped the 'Daily Album Ranking' with his mini second album 'NO LABELS: PART 02'.
This marks his second consecutive chart-topper following his mini first album 'NO LABELS: PART 01' released last year. The new album earned 37,392 points from Oricon sales channels alone.
The title track 'Ice Cream' also charted in the top 10 of major charts. 'Ice Cream' placed 7th on the 'Daily Digital Single Ranking'.
The new album also set records domestically. Based on Hanteo Chart tallies, it sold 661,924 copies on its first day of release. This is the highest sales volume among Korean solo artist albums this year.
It surpassed the previous album's first-week sales in just one day. With successful performances in both Korea and Japan, he once again proved his competitiveness as a solo artist.
His next stage is global. Next month, he will appear at ABC's 'Good Morning America' hosted 'Summer Concert Series' in the United States.
He has been invited to major North American performances. He will also take the stage at iHeartMedia-affiliated radio station 'Z100's 'Z100 SummerBash Presented by Wells Fargo'.
