[Dispatch=Reporter Lee A-jin] aespa's Ningning has practiced warm giving.
The Seoul branch of the Korean Red Cross announced on the 15th, "Ningning donated 20 million won for the 'Support Project to Overcome Extreme Heat During Summer Heat Wave.'"
The project was established to prevent heat-related illnesses in underprivileged groups exposed to extreme heat and tropical nights. The support targets 600 households at risk of isolated death.
Support items include neck coolers and retort-packaged nutritious meals. Red Cross volunteers will visit each household to check living conditions and health status, and will also provide guidance on heat wave action protocols.
Park Myung-sook, chairwoman of the Seoul Metropolitan Council of the Korean Red Cross Volunteer Association, said, "We are grateful to Ningning for extending her hand readily. We will provide support carefully so that the donor's heart can be fully conveyed."
