[Dispatch=Lee Myung-ju Reporter] CORTIS's Gunho has sustained a finger injury ahead of his first tour.
BigHit Music posted a notice titled "CORTIS Gunho Tour and Upcoming Schedule Notice" on the global fan communication platform Weverse on the 15th.
The agency announced Gunho's injury. The company said, "Gunho recently fell and improperly braced himself with both hands. A fracture near his pinky finger was confirmed and he received treatment."
Rest is essential for now. "In the opinion of medical staff, he must wear a cast to protect and aid recovery of the injured area and minimize strenuous movements," the agency added.
It continued, "While Gunho has a very strong will to participate in the scheduled tour, we plan to flexibly operate his schedule with his recovery as the top priority."
Gunho will participate in his first tour "PUT YOUR PHONE DOWN" to be held at Incheon Inspire Arena on the 18th and 19th without choreography.
The rest of his schedule will also depend on his condition. The agency said, "We will do our best to ensure Gunho recovers so he can meet fans in good health."
Gunho also posted on Weverse that day saying, "I have been injured on both hands. I'm sure you were all very surprised by my injury, and I apologize for causing worry."
Regarding the tour, he said, "I won't be able to participate in choreography with my friends, but I will do my best to show a great stage within what I can do. I hope you won't worry too much."
