[Dispatch=Reporter Jung Tae-yoon] Drama production company The Studio M is expanding its foundation for cooperation with the European content market.

The Studio M recently signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Granada Global, based in Granada, Spain (Agencia Granada Global).

Granada Global is an institution jointly established by Granada City Hall, the provincial government, universities, and the chamber of commerce. It is promoting the internationalization of the region, attracting investment, and advancing global cooperation initiatives.

This agreement was prepared to activate cultural and content industry exchanges between Korea and Granada, Spain, and to explore the possibility of joint projects in the fields of video content, entertainment, culture, tourism, and investment.

Both institutions plan to uncover new business models in the global content industry through mutual cooperation and build a sustainable cooperation system. Granada's president Marifer Carraso and other city officials attended the signing ceremony.

The two sides will pursue joint projects in video and entertainment, activate culture, tourism, and investment, discover and support new projects, and exchange related information and networks. Specific business details will be concretized in stages.

Granada is a city located in Andalusia in southern Spain. It is pursuing the fostering of culture, tourism, and creative industries as core strategies. Recently, it has been actively working to attract global content companies and cultural industry investment.

Based on its cooperation system with Granada Global, The Studio M plans to review various collaboration possibilities including video content production, cultural exchange events, and investment-linked projects.

The Studio M has built production capabilities by presenting diverse works in genre and subject matter with director Lee Myung-woo, including "One Day," "Boyhood," and "Doctor Samboy." With this agreement as an opportunity, the company plans to explore new opportunities in global content business.
