[Dispatch=Reporter Lee Ajin] Director Na Hong-jin of the film 'Hope' will meet North American audiences.
Plus M Entertainment stated on the 17th, "Director Na Hong-jin will attend San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) held in San Diego, USA on the 24th."
Jongho will serve as the opening MC for the event. Director Na Hong-jin will then take the stage to share stories about 'Hope' with the audience. Previously unreleased footage will also be unveiled for the first time at the venue.
A new poster for the Comic-Con version was also released. The poster features Beom-seok fleeing from a mysterious creature. The tense atmosphere heightened anticipation for the unreleased footage.
'Hope' is an SF thriller set against the backdrop of the demilitarized zone's Ho Po Port. It depicts the story of an outpost commander Beom-seok (played by Hwang Jungmin) facing an unbelievable reality after hearing news of a tiger's appearance.
It launched a box office signal in Korea upon its release. On its opening day on the 15th, it drew approximately 330,000 viewers. It recorded the highest opening score among releases in 2026.
Meanwhile, 'Hope' will open in North America on September 9.
