P Nation revealed on the 20th that PSY's "Gangnam Style" music video, released in July 2012, exceeded 6 billion cumulative views on YouTube.

It has been 14 years since the music video was released. The popularity continues to hold. Following the breakthrough of 5 billion views in December 2023, an additional 1 billion views were gained in 2 years.

"Gangnam Style" is a mega hit song that introduced K-pop to the world. At the time of release, it charted in the top 2 for 7 consecutive weeks on Billboard's main song chart, the "Hot 100."

The agency said, "This music video's breakthrough of 6 billion views is a symbolic record in K-pop history," and analyzed it as "a case demonstrating the power of content."

Meanwhile, PSY will continue with "PSY Humph Show - Summer Swag 2026" in Wonju on the 25th.
