[Dispatch=Lee Myung-ju Reporter] Singer IU is postponing her scheduled concerts and new album release this year. The decision comes due to her health condition.

EDAM Entertainment revealed on the 21st, "We have decided to adjust the concert schedule scheduled for September onwards, including the Goyang Stadium performance, and the regular 6th album schedule."

It is due to a recent deterioration in IU's chronic condition, Eustachian tube dysfunction. Eustachian tube dysfunction is a condition where the Eustachian tube located inside the eardrum is abnormally open, causing discomfort.

The agency stated, "The artist's symptoms are not at a level that interferes with daily life," and added, "This is a decision made to present the stage in the best possible condition."

The company added, "We plan to support the artist's health recovery," and promised, "We will make efforts so that IU can meet fans in good health."

IU herself also mentioned her health condition on this day. Through the fan communication platform 'Verez', she said, "The Goyang Stadium concert is ultimately difficult to proceed with."

She continued, "My Eustachian tube dysfunction symptoms are worsening," and confessed, "The symptoms continue day and night, and I repeatedly face difficulty finding my condition when singing."

Meanwhile, new album recording work has been completed. IU added, "There is no major disruption to daily life, but there is an opinion that concerts will be difficult for the time being."

The performance became difficult due to the worsening condition. She said, "I feel heavy-hearted and sorry that it will be difficult to keep the concert promise within the time I spend with the 8th generation, and I am sorry."

Not only the Goyang concert but also the nationwide tour has been postponed. The regular 6th album will also have its release delayed. She apologized again, saying, "I cannot convey how sorry I am with just an apology."

IU said, "I will do my best to not make the wait too long, and will show and play the new album and concert to Uaena as quickly as possible."

Finally, she said, "I will receive treatment, take the best measures, and commit to improving my condition so that we can surely be together at the start of 2027," pointing to next year.

Meanwhile, IU is in legal dispute with malicious commenters. Recently, she filed a request for discovery of evidence in U.S. court to identify the identities of the malicious commenters.
